Mood: Hopelessly in Love.
Mood 2: Loved, hopelessly.
Here's a story I wrote for no particular reason. It alludes to no thruths about myself nor anyone. It's fiction.
Untitled
By James Ducker
Dedicated to Andrew, 'cos if you weren't away from MSN i would never have written this!
"Hey."
he said, weary of the illness that had overcome him.
His skies were darkest on glorious summer days, memories of times gone by spent basking in the sun embittered by his wretched shortcomings.
"James" a voice whispered from afar.
Ahh that voice, sweet as honey, soft as a cloud, yet always clear and crisp
"James!" the voice repeated
I awoke to find myself in a room, lifetimes away from those sunny daffidol spotted meadows
Bed, drip, and her
she was here
Why I did not know. Memories of vicious arguments and threats came flooding back
what fool would ever do what I had done to her. The dunce, the joker, the petty theif. These were my only kin now
Yet she was there
"Why?" My voice was weak and raspy, yet the word- that word uttered so often by so many, sprang forth thriumphantly.
She looked down upon me
I could feel the warmth of her body radiating through the bed sheets. She was sitting now.
"James," she began "I love you, and it will take more than an argument to change that."
A glimmer of light found it's way to my eyes. Surely she would see the sparkle and know that I loved her too.
As defeated as I may be, her love gave me strength enough to sit up. My eyes to hers, we began to converse. Slowly. For that was all my shaken mind could handle for now. Soon the time would come for retribution, but until that time comes it is said that nothing could ever break your heart
Like a warrior fallen in battle, I felt the last few rays of irridescent light strike my body. The light soon faded.
I awoke some time later to an empty room. She was gone. My heart began its long plunge into infinite darkness, but was caught by that soft hand that had run its fingers through my hair countless times.
A note was placed next to my bed.
With my strength steadily increasing I was able to take it from it's resting spot and pry it open.
"Mr. Ducker, I write you to inform you that we are in possession of your greatest treasure. We will contact you shortly, but until that time it would be unwise to contact anyone regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
T."
The time for retribution had come.

(fin is cliche but film noirish, innit)

Well enough of that, back to my life. Yeah so well Semester II of uni has started, sweet timetable: Thursday and Friday off! Mainly because I failed maths *is both happy and annoyed but more happy*
And uhh, still with my girlfriend

that's almost 7 months now, and still going strong, even though sometimes I'm a dick and don't stop playing computer games when she calls! She's so understanding, sigh. . .
Uhh, other than that, been good, got a bit of a cold. And am building a hot new computer so games and photoshop finally don't laaaaaaag!
Anyway, here I am, back again.
